Cheap Term Insurance Advice on buying a Lamborghini Gallardo?

Question by T T: Advice on buying a Lamborghini Gallardo?
I’m not very educated in buying cars, so advice is needed: I’m looking to buy a Lamborghini Gallardo.

1. I terms of getting the best bang for the buck, what year (04 to 08) should I go for?

2. How much insurance can I expect to pay? I am 24 years old and I have 1 seatbelt violation within the last year. Will insurance be drastically cheaper if I wait a few months until I turn 25?

3. How much in maintenance costs can I expect to pay to maintain the car each year?

4. Where would be the best place to grab the best deal on the car?

Best answer:

Answer by Adam
if you’re worried about insurance and maintenance costs, you might be buying more car than you need. btw, both of those costs will be crazy compared to most cars. aim a little lower, something under 6 figures. you can find plenty of fast, fun, great cars for that.

Cheap Term Insurance What to do with a husband?

Question by hokeygurl019: What to do with a husband?
who never thinks he’s wrong and always wants to blame me for anything and everything that goes wrong? Let me explain…whenever I try to tell him something is bothering me, he brings up ANYTHING he can think of to turn it on me. He does what he wants, when he wants, and how he wants to do it, and NEVER discusses anything with me. He has been continuously using money to start all these small buisnesses and telling me AFTER the fact…but I can NEVER use any extra money for anything. He knows that I need to file bankrupcy, I need medical insurance, and I got a short term loan for my engagement ring for us to pay rent (a few months ago) and still don’t have it back! He did finally start paying for me to go back to school…but that was after months of complaining that I have NOTHING and picking the cheapest school possible.
Now..more to this. We can’t get a house because our credit is so bad, so my parents got us a house, are fixing it up, and renting it to us. The ONLY thing he has said about this house is how HIS son (from a different marriage) is excited about some stupid play yard in the back. My parents are starting to notice these things! I am getting the feeling that he is only in this for the fact that my parents still take care of me…because he won’t…and my parents make sure stuff is paid and we have a home. He is only worried about himself, his son, and his family. We have been married less than a year and he WAS NOT like this before…I swear..he wasn’t. WHat the heck do I do???
Oh yeah…and he acts VERY powerful. He will not talk to me when we argue and waits for me to make any move first because he never thinks he is wrong. He says things in front of MY family to embaress me, then shrugs his shoulders when I tell him how I felt because of it. He also claims that we are “roommates” instead of married because I won’t give him sex every single night and I sleep in another room because he takes up the whole bed and snores NON STOP! So, I can’t sleep…he goes around telling people I treat him like a roommate and tells me if I just wasn’t a roommate I’d know more about his life and he wouldn’t hide it from me!
We dated for 2 years, engaged for one year before we got married…he WASN’T like this before. It started a few months after we got married..

Answer by bill b
Less than a year!?!? Get a divorce! You don’t have much invested. Leave before you end up pregnant.

If you didn’t see this in him before you got married, you probably didn’t dating him long enough for his true personality to come out.

Cheap Term Insurance Is it smart to trade in my car for a cheaper car, so I could afford a better car???

Question by pitbull_718: Is it smart to trade in my car for a cheaper car, so I could afford a better car???
Right now I drive a Mitsu Lancer, and the car is worth 7,500 but I owe around 10K still. I am on a 72 month term, so it will take me forever to pay it off. I want to purchase a 07 Jetta but with me owing so much, I can’t. I was considering, what if I trade in my car, and get a car that is worth less or around the amount of what my car is worth. Then I pay off the rest of what I owe on my Lancer. I save up money (I will also save on insurance because the car will be considered MINE instead of Fianced) and then I trade in that car in a few months (around Dec hopefully) and get the Jetta (or if not the Jetta, something around that price range)
Is taht a good idea? Are there any faults to that idea?
I am thinking about trading in the Mitsu Lancer ES for something like a Honda or whatever, something cheap on insurance.

But save the money to get the Jetta afterwards.

hi I ran into the same problem twice when i wanted to buy a new vehicle. The dealers offered to pay off what i owed on the old vehicle and called it a wash. Therefore no equity no rollover amount so i had to make a downpayment. only downside was i wasn’t able to take them down on the price. Go to the Vw dealer and see what they say

Cheap Term Insurance How do I ask my friend to let me stay with her until I can find work?

Question by ♥CJ♥: How do I ask my friend to let me stay with her until I can find work?
I never thought I’d want a roommate but I wanted to live with my friend who is a doctor. She is very nice and easygoing like me so we click well. It was my idea to live with her at first since I got a temp job at a clinic in that area. I was initially hired last summer but did not start til this yr (bullcrap, I know). My friend has been wanting me to move in with her for several months now and I was uneasy about it for a few reasons mainly I wanted secure income or at least enough money saved to move in. I was working near where she lived but that was a temp job that I wanted to quit but tried to stay (it was an open position with no determined time line) Basically that job was a joke I was NEVER trained to do the job I was hired for (Patient Coordinator) and ended up doing something else (Medical Billing Clerk/receptionist). The assignment ended in April. Since then, I haven’t been able to find anything in my area where I live. I have applied for any office job even hotel clerk jobs which isn’t my preference but a job is a job at this point.

I’ve gotten job leads but they are usually too far and I have bad credit (student loans, small credit debt) so its harder to find a decent career job. I have a Bachelor’s degree but it hasn’t helped me much in terms of finding work so now I feel like I have no choice but to do temp work to gain exp. I cannot fix my debt issue unless I have steady income. I don’t get unemployment benefits. My birthday recently passed and I have been basically pinching off the little b-day money I received to keep gas in the car, buy necessities and food.

Another issue is my dad was recently released from the mental hospital and my mother wants a break so she plans to leave for two months. I already know my dad will start complaining about me not working sooner or later so I feel a lot of pressure. I am always applying to jobs and I get interviews but usually they feel either I’m overqualified (b/c of degree) or don’t have enough exp. When I omit my degree is when I can get an interview easiest. I think they assume I will quit or want more money but that’s not true. I need steady work, I want to grow within the company. I graduated college at 21 and didnt get a job until a year later at a correctional facility :( . I am now in my mid 20s and live with my parents which is depressing after living in my own apartment while in college. I really want to move out but with no $ $ I’d rather not move in (most of the money I earned at last job used to fix up my dad’s car he “gave” me so I could drive it, I still need to pay for insurance too its not cheap either because its a luxury car so it costs a lot to maintain). I don’t know what to do. I feel like I have nothing to lose.

If my folks get mad, they can always kick me out then what? I would be homeless God forbid. So I got to do something. Trust me I look for work daily but its always the same issue. I even volunteer often so I can network and potentially get positive referals. I really want to work in the non-profit/social services sector but there are limited opportunities where I live so perhaps moving is my best bet. She is close to the locations that will have more career positions for someone with my background. Its a matter of convincing her to let me stay maybe if I explained my situation she would understand idk but I got to do something FAST. I know she could use the money so she can eventually move out as well. She decided to renew her lease til January 2012. Hopefully she didn’t get a new roommate just yet. I also am a bit concerned if I don’t move on it she will probably just find someone else to move in :( I understand that I would not be “moving in” by any means until I had steady employment but staying with her for a week or so just to see how it is and do job hunting there might be better for me idk,…

Q&A: Cheap Term Insurance What financial aid will work for me? For my situation (and individual loan for housing Q)?

Question by Ginger: What financial aid will work for me? For my situation (and individual loan for housing Q)?
So right now, I am 19 and attending an Art Institute. I was told that I couldn’t get any money through any federal student aid on my own (like i really would like to do) under the condition that my I am not old enough. Also, my mom tried cosigning a gov’t loan, FASFA…? But was denied due to bad credit, my barely willing father, however, was able to but wants off of it ASAP. I want to take a loan out in my name but didn’t have any credit. Since then, I got a credit card with a $ 700 limit that I’ve been using for everything expense related and pay it off monthly and haven’t missed a payment for going on 7ish months. But with such a small credit line, would this even help me get a student loan, gov’t or private? What options do I have, if any?

Also, if I have to stay with my father as my cosigner without any other options, would I be able to qualify for a different loan to help pay for student expenses such as housing? I live about 17 minutes away from college in the “dorms”, with 2 other roomates paying $ 850/month through my current student loan. A studio apartment right next to the school however would be $ 600/month. Long term, it would be cheaper to live in a different place closer to school. Could I get a loan, if even a separate loan from my student loan to help pay for housing/a loan to cover partial? I am financially independent without any other source of income than what I make from my part time job. I couldn’t pay $ 600 a month for a place to live on top of car insurance, gas, food and internet, BUT, I could pay partial if that would give me another option. I really want to move out, and its only a helpful factor that its cheaper and closer. Thank you for your time

Scholarships for merit are available.
Unload the car and the insurance and that will save a ton.
Get rid of the cell plan and go to track phone.
Get rid of cable or any other unnecessary item.
Sell what ever you can sell.
Use the schools public transportation. If you live in a dorm then they have transportation.
Like all students, you will have to include you Father and he has a right to not keep cosigning. It sounds like you picked an expensive school that you cannot afford to attend and you didn’t qualify for scholarships. It is wiser to move to a more affordable school and get your degree. Artists that have talent get paid whether they have a degree or not.
Rethink your college plan and apply to schools within your budget.
